“And Yahauah Elohim took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to work it and to guard it.” — Genesis 2:15
Yah's Men of Valor
Men of Valor, provided by Yah’s Kingdom Coaching, is a group designed to support men aged 20 and older in drawing closer to Yah and acting out their roles as the mind and structure of their families. We learn from the blueprint that Yah has provided us through the scriptures.
“For the husband is the head of the wife as the Messiah is the head of the congregation, his body, of which he is the Savior.” — Ephesians 5:23
Why choose to be a
Man of Valor?
This journey is designed to help men strengthen their relationship with Yah and take their place as the mind and structure of the household; as the spiritual, mental, emotional, physical, and financial providers.
The Mighty Men we see in scripture and walking among us today have three distinct characteristics: They are men of strength, courage, and passion.
“And appeared to him the messenger of Yah and said to him ‘Yah is with you, you mighty man of valor’.” — Judges 6:12
What is valor?
Valor means having “value” or “worth” and comes from the Old French word of valour, meaning moral worth, merit, courage, and virtue. Which is from the Latin valere, meaning be strong be worth, and courage.
Thus, valor is to be strong in mind, heart and spirit, to be courageous, to act even in fear showing fearlessness, to live with a steely determination of firmness and decisiveness.
"Flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on Yah out of a pure heart." — 2 Timothy 2:22
What is a man?
As defined by the Word of Yah, a person becomes an adult when they reach the age of 20. Thus, a man is any biological male who has reached the age of 20 years old.
A man of valor is...
- No. 10: man enough to admit his faults and take ownership of his sins.
- No. 9: faithful to his commitments and keeps his word and promises.
- No. 8: perseveres in difficult tasks or under adversity, even when he may not receive recognition or appreciation.
- No. 7: loyal to his household, his family, and his friends, but not at the cost of his relationship with Yah.
- No. 6: recognizes that he is not always self-sufficient and that he needs the support of his helpmate and friends.
- No. 5: bold when required, but also uses restraint and discretion when they are needed.
- No. 4: overcomes his fear of evangelizing and is willing to share the good news with others if an opportunity arises.
- No. 3: enthusiastically serves his family/household, even if he is worn out from a hard day at work.
- No. 2: willing to put his flesh to death and exercise self-control over his thoughts, words, eyes, and actions.
